Hospitality specialist Jelena Bojanic has stepped into her ‘dream role’ as A by Adina Canberra Hotel General Manager, raising the flag on the new brand’s first premium address in the nation’s capital.

“I’m living the dream,” says the 26-year-old, who found her ‘life’s calling’ the very first day on the job with TFE Hotels 8 years ago. “The Adina brand is part of my heart and soul.”

A sublime embodiment of contemporary Australian style, space and values that the rest of the world aspires to, the A by Adina brand purposely side-steps any concept of a ‘hotel category’ to elevate individual guest experience into a class of its own.

Fittingly, Jelena’s started her hotel career with TFE Hotels flagship Adina brand, initially working on reception at Adina Apartment Hotel Wollongong, in tandem with university study (Bachelor of Commerce).

During her long tenure with TFE Hotels, she has worked across a variety of properties including Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Airport (Duty Manager; Reservations & Conference Coordinator; Assistant Hotel Manager) and has also enjoyed several Relief Assistant Hotel Manager secondments to Adina Sydney Central, The Calile Hotel (Brisbane) and Hotel Kurrajong Canberra (where she was assisted in a crisis management in the face of bushfires and COVID-19 response procedures).

Leading a team of A by Adina Canberra ‘guest curators’, Jelena is excited and enlivened by her role in TFE Hotels game-changing introduction of ‘hotel living’, with the arrival of A by Adina.

“I’ve fallen in love with Canberra,” said Jelena, who considers the city the perfect launchpad for A by Adina’s promise of hotel living. “It’s a vibrant city that has everything you could wish for and more. Close enough to everywhere, but also an escape like no other.”

Above all, Jelena says she’s excited to deliver guests the ultimate freedom to redefine house rules and stay their own way at A by Adina Canberra – even extending to re-arranging apartment layouts, perfectly suited to individual needs, thanks to the property’s thoughtful, cutting-edge design.
