Otherworldly landscapes, neolithic ruins, grass-roofed churches and the once-forgotten Faroe Islands are just some of the highlights of an Adventure Canada expedition voyage from Scotland to Iceland in 2021, with savings offered for bookings made by this June 1.
Adventure Canada and Cruise Traveller are offering a 15 per cent earlybird saving on the cruise as well as a free night of accommodation pre-cruise in Aberdeen, Scotland, meaning couples can save up to almost US$4000 if they book by that date. As part of the special offer, no solo supplement will be charged for single travellers in cabin categories 3-7.
The 10-night ‘North Atlantic Saga’ cruise aboard Ocean Endeavour takes passengers from the Scottish city of Aberdeen — also known as the Granite city due to its many grey buildings — to the Faroe Islands (Denmark), home to breathtaking scenery and numerous species of seabird including the eye-catching puffins, and on to the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik, one of the cleanest and greenest cities on Earth.

Along the way, guests can watch for marine mammals and birdlife and learn from the expedition team who will showcase the Scottish, Faroese and Icelandic regions’ archaeology, history, culture and wildlife.
The expedition leader will be always looking for opportunities for zodiac explorations among the fjords, craggy mountain peaks, glacial tongues and more fertile lands of the region.
Highlights of the cruise include hiking amongst the spectacular mountain landscapes of the Faroe Islands and a visit to the Orkney archipelago of Scotland, where guests can visit Skara Brae — Europe’s most complete neolithic village.
Guests also visit Torshavn, the colourful Faroese capital, a coastal town with a charming old centre to explore.
Journeying further towards Iceland, the cruise will culminate by sailing to Heimaey Island, famous for the volcanic eruption in 1973 which nearly wiped out the town.
