Dining & drinking: no on-site drinking or dining venue is available, but there is plentiful choice within strolling ditance in the adjoining arcade, and within a short — and I do mean short — hop at the new wharf development. A particular favouite there is the Greek fare at Spirao’s. I haven’t had so much fun and authentic food since Con and Coralie Astrinakis were running the Aegean in Hobart. Try the tarama dip and the spanakoppita (visit www.sperogreek.com.au). More nearby the hotel, Lemon & Thyme offers a great dining experience (visit www.lemonandthyme.com.au). Try the calamari or a healthy ‘Tempeh Bliss’ bowl of stir-fried vegies and brown rice.
