Most of us will have seen Jucy’s distinctive green and purple motorhomes vehicles around Australia, but sadly no longer as Jucy have hit the wall and been placed into receivership.
New Zealand based, it appears its sales plummeted by more than 90% since March with Jucy vans preferred by backpackers and budget travellers, but there is good news.
Polar Capital has bought the assets of the company and has bought a controlling stake in the rental business in Australia and New Zealand, which hopefully will enable the business to survive and to retain around 150 of the 400 staff from before the COVID-19 pandemic decimated the business.
