Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the appointment of Kaydee George to the role of General Manager at its flagship Fiji resort, Club Wyndham Denarau Island.

The multi-award winning 201-apartment beachfront property is one of the largest and most popular resorts in Club Wyndham South Pacific – the region’s largest timeshare club with close to 60,000 members.

Ms George joins Club Wyndham Denarau Island after almost eight years tenure with Wyndham, most recently as Area General Manager Gold Coast, based at Wyndham Surfers Paradise.

Wyndham’s Vice President of Operations, Warren Cullum, said Ms George had proven herself as a natural leader with a positive, motivating attitude.

“During her time at Wyndham Surfers Paradise, Kaydee was instrumental in building a can-do culture and leading a motivated, results-driven team,” Mr Cullum said.

“In 2019, the team at Wyndham Surfers Paradise managed to achieve significant growth in both customer satisfaction and financial performance, which is testament to the time Kaydee spent developing the business and the people around her. I have no doubt she will bring the same energy and commitment to our flagship Fiji property.”

Ms George joined Wyndham in 2012 as a Conference and Events Manager in Dunsborough, Western Australia, before being promoted to various resort management roles in Australia and New Zealand. She is part of the Queensland Government’s Young Tourism Leaders program, which provides influential and inspiring role models to encourage young people to consider a career in the tourism industry.

Ideally located just 15 minutes from Nadi Airport, Club Wyndham Denarau Island features a host of facilities including Mamacita Restaurant & Bar, The Beach Shack café and bar, a mobile coffee cart and swim up-pool bars at the lagoon-style swimming pool and adults’ only pool. The resort also boasts a children’s pool, day spa, gym, beach club, games room and 24-hour reception.
