Taiwan’s crowd-pleasing sensation KiKi Noodle Bar (KiKi Tea) is celebrating the festive season at its four Hong Kong outlets with cult favourite puddings, along with beverage and noodle specialties to welcome the ‘Year of the Rat’.

Made of finest ingredients from Taiwan and Japan, two signature Chinese New Year Puddings were a sellout success on their debut last year – and triumphantly return again this year with an ‘early bird’ offer on orders in advance from now to 9 January 2020. A combination of the sweet and savoury puddings is priced HK$228 (Early Bird: HK$208).

KiKi Taiwan Dried Longan and Brown Sugar Pudding (HK$118 / Early Bird: HK$108) features traditional dried longan from Zhuqi and Chiayi in Taiwan, produced by an ancient roasting technique that reduces 3kg of the fresh fruit to 1kg. The healthy recipe believed to nourish and clean blood is completed with Taiwan dark brown sugar free of artificial colouring, preservatives and fructose.

Savoury KiKi Taiwan Dried Sakura Shrimp Turnip Pudding (HK$118 / Early Bird: HK$108) is crafted from a trio of prized Asian ingredients – delicate sun-dried sakura shrimp from Taiwan, fresh turnip and preserved local lean Chinese sausage.

KiKi’s Chinese New Year Pudding vouchers are now on sale for the two sweet and savoury delights, perfect for gifting with collection from 18 to 24 January 2020 at all four branches – KiKi Noodle Bar (KiKi Tea) ifc mall in Central, KiKi Noodle Bar (KiKi Tea) K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui, KiKi Tea @ Sun’s Bazaar Telford Plaza and KiKi Tea @ Sun’s Baazar at Pacific Place, Admiralty.

In addition to the Chinese New Year Pudding promotion, exclusive festive noodle dishes and beverages are crafted for Chinese New Year. KiKi Lou Hei (HK$98) is a modern twist on the ancient tradition with KiKi’s iconic homemade sun-dried noodles. Continuing KiKi’s ‘low-oil and low-sodium’ philosophy, KiKi Lou Hei is topped with an array of fresh and colourful ingredients – smoked salmon, carrot, cucumber, black fungus, yam bean, red cabbage, daikon and peanut, finishing with versatile sesame plum sauce.

The convivial festive specialty beloved by families and groups of friends is served from 1 January to 31 January 2020 at KiKi Noodle Bar (KiKi Tea) ifc mall in Central and KiKi Noodle Bar (KiKi Tea) K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Throughout the same Chinese New Year period, two indulgent festive beverages inspired by the golden sweet potato are also on the menu across all 4 branches, available from 1 January to 31 January 2020. Hot Brown Sugar Ginger Milk topped with Golden Sweet Potato Cream Mousse (HK$38) and iced Peach Oolong topped with Golden Sweet Potato Cream Mousse (HK$33) are KiKi’s blessing for diners, wishing them a healthy and prosperous Year of the Rat.
