Australian independent sports and entertainment business KOJO has appointed Emily Livacari, a highly experienced, talented and creative game day producer based in the US, to join KOJO Sport; kick-starting her journey working with Cricket Australia and the ICC T20 World Cups.

Known for her creative vision and fusion of sports branding, live presentation, show-calling and music, Ms Livacari’s production of the game day at the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Chicago Bulls, was once labelled an ‘entertainment whirlwind’.

KOJO connected with Ms Livacari earlier this year, while she was working as Stadium Producer at the 2019 Australian Open, and were impressed with her successes working in production for Tennis Australia on the Laver Cup Chicago 2018 and Laver Cup Geneva 2019.

Stephen Lord, KOJO’s CEO, is delighted to welcome Ms Livacari to KOJO Sport’s team of strategists, creatives, producers, production crew and technical managers in Australia.

“Emily’s diverse international experience producing more than 300 professional sporting events, across basketball, tennis and ice hockey, plus her depth of knowledge and understanding of large-scale and fast-moving experiences, will be a real asset to our local productions.”

“The core purpose at the centre of our sports presentation programs is to captivate audiences, and Emily’s passion for fan engagement and highly immersive experiences makes her a great fit for KOJO Sport,” said Mr Lord. “Emily will play a vital role as we bring an international perspective to our Australian based clients, and also make a move into the vibrant world of the US sports industry.

Ms Livacari will be responsible for taking KOJO Sport’s Australian success in game day presentation and production across the Pacific, while also having input into the strategic delivery of KOJO’s Australian work.

Ms Livacari said she had been impressed with KOJO’s work during her time in Australia.

“I’m excited to join the KOJO team, to challenge myself with new types of sporting events in Australia and see how my US experience can translate to local sports production.”

“I love managing live sports, seeing the flow of the game, the buzz of the stadium and bringing the players, team and fans closer together. I look forward to the opportunity to enhance KOJO’s sports presentations in Australia and drive new business in the US,” said Ms Livacari.
