L.A. Tourism and United Airlines Offer Agents A Chance To Winthe Ultimate L.A. Adventure

L.A. Tourism, together with United Airlines, has today unveiled ‘Choose your L.A. Adventure’, a nationwide incentive for agents, offering them the chance to win the ultimate trip to Los Angeles.Running from 12 February – 12 March 2019, the incentive encourages agents to sign up to the L.A. Insider program – an easy-to-use online training tool designed to help trade agents better sell L.A. and stay-up-to-date with the city’s latest offerings. Eligible consultants have the chance to win their choice of an L.A. adventure, with four bespoke itineraries available:

  • L.A. The Foodie Mecca– With over 130 nationalities calling L.A. home, experience the city’s multicultural, fusion-focused culinary scene with experiences such as a taco ‘trek’ around the city and a visit to the iconic Grand Central Market in Downtown L.A.
  • Active L.A.– Work up a sweat in L.A.’s outdoors, enjoying the city’s year-round near perfect weather with activities including a hike in Runyon Canyon and paddle boarding at Marina Del Rey
  • Hollywood: Live Like a Celeb- Experience the glitz and glam of the home of movie-making with a Universal Studios Hollywood VIP Tour and a private helicopter tour of L.A.
  • L.A. Capital of Sports– Set to host the 2028 Olympics and with sporting franchises across every major sport, experience what the sporting capital of the world has to offer with tickets to sporting games and a tour of Dodger Stadium

The main prize winner will receive (for them and a friend) four nights’ accommodation at one of L.A.’s trendiest hotels and return flights on United’s state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Passengers can stay entertained by United’s inflight entertainment, with a huge selection of movies, TV programs and music. United operates daily nonstop services from Sydney and Melbourne to Los Angeles / LAX, which remains the most popular gateway to North America for Australians, welcoming 60 per cent of Australian visitors to the US.

Weekly adventure-themed prizes will also be up for grabs throughout the four-week incentive, which include a L.A. Food Icons Pack, Indulgence Pack, Universal Studios Pack, and the Sports Fan Pack.

Commenting on the incentive, Craig Gibbons, Regional Director Australia & New Zealand for Los Angeles Tourism said, “For Australians, Los Angeles is a welcoming and diverse destination offering a range of holiday styles all in the one place – whether it’s a sun-filled beach holiday, a chance to experience the glitz and glam of movie-making or delving into a cutting-edge culinary or culture scene. L.A. has something for everyone.

“This incentive aims to educate agents on all of the facets L.A. has to offer, whether it’s their first time to the city or as a repeat visitor.”

To be eligible to win, travel trade professionals need to follow two simple steps –

  2. Register for the competition

The lucky winner will be drawn at random on 12 March from the ‘L.A. Insiders’ who entered the competition.
