The Tourism Industry Council of South Australia (TiCSA)’s upcoming tourism conference is set to lead the industry towards unlocking the 2020 targets of $8 billion and 41,000 jobs.http://www.stevecafeandcuisine.com/

The two-day program held on the 28th and 29th May at Adelaide Oval will give an insight into the opportunities, challenges and changes affecting the industry and provide solutions to tackle them head-on.

A highlight of the conference line-up will be former Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Australia and co-founder of the Australian Walking Company, Brett Godfrey. Brett will share his experience with transformational leadership in the Australian tourism industry and outline the drivers behind his success.

TiCSA Chief Executive Officer Shaun de Bruyn says the conference is a must-attend event and a highly valuable investment of money and time.

“Increasing our growth momentum at this time is critical to achieving the 2020 targets and those beyond,” said Mr de Bruyn.

“The conference aims to do just that by providing operators with the knowledge, tools and strategies to support the ongoing development of competitive tourism products in our state.”

Rodney Harrex, Chief Executive of the South Australian Tourism Commission said a strong tourism industry is vital to the economic future of South Australia.
