ZUZU Hospitality (ZUZU), Southeast Asia’s leading hospitality management services, announced today that François-Alexandre Léonard has been appointed as their Head of Operations. He will oversee new hotel onboarding, channel operations and pricing optimisation teams across the company while focusing on ZUZU’s next phase of expansion in the region.

The fast-growing hospitality tech startup aims to increase online revenue for the unchained hotels in the region. ZUZU is empowering these independent hotels by enabling them to access the latest technologies and skilled resources, previously only available to large chains. ZUZU delivers highly complex and time-consuming tasks like dynamic pricing, data analytics, online channel distribution and online content management, letting hotels focus on delivering excellent guest experience.

Formerly COO at Doctolib, a French healthtech unicorn, François-Alexandre comes with considerable experience in operational management and customer support.

In the challenging healthtech industry, François-Alexandre managed to secure over hundred industry collaborations overseeing onboarding, customer support, customer success and partnership management at Doctolib. During his tenure, the French startup grew from a thirty-person team to over a thousand employees and over a billion-dollar in valuation.

François-Alexandre is an ex-Mckinsey management consultant specializing in operational projects and Lean Management, a universal management tool for delivering value and optimizing work processes. Furthermore, he also comes with entrepreneurial experience from launching his own startup Homejoy – a San Francisco based company offering home services directly bookable online in France.
