Flynn, a Crystalbrook Collection Hotel, officially opened its doors today in anticipation of a summer unlike any other.
The third Cairns property in the Crystalbrook portfolio – and the social butterfly of the family – Flynn is ready to get the party started following months of nights in.
The opening, originally set for April 2020, comes after a tumultuous year for the tourism industry, but as border closures lift, Crystalbrook Collection is ready to welcome all of Australia back to the Sunshine State with open arms.

Situated on the Cairns Esplanade Boardwalk, Flynn features 311 stylish rooms and suites, many with jaw-dropping views of the Coral Sea, two glass pools, an Eléme Day Spa and 24-hour gym.
The ground-level restaurant, Boardwalk Social, opened in January, proving an instant hit with locals and cementing the venue as the place to be in Cairns. The market-style food and beverage hub is home to live music, local ingredients and brews, with 40 different kinds of gin to sample.
Due to open in the coming months, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Flynn’s Italian, will bring some European charm to Cairns offering locally sourced heartfelt Italian food that celebrates local produce. Feeling thirsty? The extensive Italian wine list will not disappoint.
Also set to join Cairns’ flourishing food and beverage scene will be Flynn’s sophisticated Whiskey and Wine Bar, featuring an expansive selection from boutique Australian whiskey producers, local and imported wines, home-style delicacies, and a spread of modern Australian snacks.
