Lobby Lounge presents a week-long celebration of chocolate indulgence from 18 to 24 March 2019, allowing chocolate lovers to discover different chocolate profiles and identify that particular flavour they love most. As the proud champion of the 2001 World Pastry Cup in Lyon, France, Chef Michel Willaume will grace the Lobby Lounge at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong with his presence from 18 to 20 March 2019, bringing with him his award-winning chocolate creations to the afternoon tea set and evening dessert buffet menu.

Guests who visit Lobby Lounge for afternoon tea can experience Chef Michel’s favourite savoury items, including Escargot Vol Au Vent (snail with mashed potato and herb butter), Sandwich au foie gras (foie gras terrine served with Brioche toast and mini pear), Rouleau de saumon fume (smoked salmon roll with cream cheese and pickled lemon) and Cordon bleu (deep-fried chicken roll with Gruyère cheese, Parma ham and pea purée). The afternoon tea set also introduces Chef Michel’s signature chocolate collections, including Berga (hazelnut sable, bergamot comfit, hazelnut praliné crème brûlée), Brownie in Disguise (chocolate pecan brownie with white chocolate, soft caramel and chocolate glaze), Choc’Orange (intense dark chocolate with homemade orange marmalade éclair), and Coffee Finger (a French classic revisited with coffee flavour and milk chocolate). More chocolate delights are featured in the evening dessert buffet, boasting a range of fruity flavours interpreted in tarts, éclairs and cakes.

Available at Lobby Lounge from 18 to 22 March 2019, except public holidays, between 2 and 5 pm, the chocolate-themed afternoon tea set is available at HKD 498 for two guests,
and HKD 298 for one person. The evening dessert buffet is available at HKD 288 per adult and HKD 188 per child from 18 to 24 March 2019, between 8 and 10 pm. All prices are subject to a 10 per cent service charge. The afternoon tea set is limited to a maximum of 30 guests per weekday. Only online reservations are accepted.
