The Yosemite pavilion encompassed Visit Yosemite | Madera County, Sierra Vacation Home Rentals, Yosemite/Mariposa County Tourism Bureau, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, The Redwoods in Yosemite, Auto Camp in Mariposa and Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau. The highlight of the pavilion was the Yosemite Experience which included a 360 degree virtual reality tour of Yosemite National Park during which attendees of all ages got a taste of adventure.

Therese Williams, Public Relations and Sales Director of Visit Yosemite | Madera County said “This award is very special to us.  The Yosemite Pavilion is a coordinated group effort surrounding Yosemite.  The pavilion offers visitors a “one-stop” shop to see all that Yosemite and the surrounding communities have to offer.”

“From adventure to national parks to fine dining and lodging, the Yosemite group put together an exciting and very popular pavilion at this year’s show,” stated John Golicz, CEO of Unicomm, the show’s organizer.

“Frankly, I think they are a model of how many regional CVB’s, tourism boards and private sector hospitality companies can partner to market and educate travelers.”

Almost 38,000 consumers, travel agents and professionals streamed into the Travel & Adventure Show® to meet with more than 4,100 experts manning the show’s over 500 exhibit booths.
