The team behind Luxperience, Australia’s leading luxury travel business exchange, has reason to celebrate following a successful showcase at Sydney’s International Convention Centre.

The event, anchored in its message that Experience Is Everything, explored the evolving definition of luxury travel that increasingly emphasises experiential elements over material items. With a program of events attended by international and domestic buyers, exhibitors and media, delegates connected over social events, Business Sessions and thousands of scheduled appointments to discuss luxury travel experiences and develop meaningful relationships that could deliver real impact on their businesses.

Impressively, Luxperience experienced considerable year-on-year growth in addition to lifting the calibre of delegates. This year the event boasted a 13% increase in registered exhibitors and a 6% increase in registered buyers.

“The response has been superb”, says Michelle Papas, Event Director for Luxperience. “It was important for us to produce an event that not only looked great and ran smoothly but brought together the right mix of people and product to allow relationships to flourish, and provided ample opportunities for our delegates to learn, socialise and network. I feel confident that we achieved that!”

Accor’s Reno Verikakis, Director of Luxury Sales for New Zealand, Fiji & French Polynesia, agrees: “I really have to say a massive thank you to Michelle and the Luxperience team for a fabulous three days. The quality of the show and the connections made were quite superior!”

The 2019 program was comprised of the Luxperience Awards and opening party, Tuesday Night Social in partnership with Santa Monica Tourism, sunrise yoga, Luxperience Press Conference, six Business Sessions in partnership with Mumbrella, and three exclusive events hosted by Luxperience exhibitors and partners.
