The ABC has published a 30-second video showing a bearded man swimming among the fish in Sydney Zoo aquarium, while someone else, possibly the person who shot the video, laughs uproariously and continuously.
The video was filmed through the aquarium’s glass viewing wall. You can see it on the ABC site here. Warning: the laughter is quite infectious!
The fish seem cool about it but the ABC notes that New South Wales Police have issued a court notice over the swim.
Police allege a 30-year-old Peakhurst man ignored warning signs and entered the zoo’s aquarium about 3pm on Monday while being filmed by his friends, Yahoo News reports.
He will face Blacktown Local Court on 17 September 2020.
