Marriott International Launches ‘Your Culinary Affair’ in Singapore, Offering Dining Experiences Perfectly Matched to Personal Tastes

Marriott International launches a restaurant profiling match campaign Your Culinary Affair in Singapore – an engaging initiative offering dining experiences matched to guests’ personal tastes. Driven by the Culinary Matchmaker, an online profiling quiz tailored to match guests’ dining profiles to restaurants, the digital platform also provides the latest happenings, Chef’s specials and member exclusive benefits. Followed by Your Culinary Affair Restaurant Week, which will run from June 15-24, 2018, guests are invited to experience a variety of interactive F&B experiences and activities at 17 award-winning restaurants across eight hotels in Marriott International’s portfolio in Singapore.

Upon visiting the interactive digital platform, guests will be led to the Culinary Matchmaker and be given one of five dining profiles: Adventurer, Classicist, Fun Lover, Hands On Artist, or Sophisticated – pairing them to top restaurants of that profile. Guests who make reservations through the platform will be treated to uniquely created and complimentary Chef’s specials. Restaurants include Akira Back, Beach Road Kitchen, Brasserie Les Saveurs, Colony, Cook & Brew, LaBrezza, Latest Recipe, Madame Fan, Marriott Café, Pool Grill, Seasonal Tastes, SKIRT, Sky 22, Summer Pavilion, kitchen table, Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant and Yan Ting.

Your Culinary Affair will be crowned by Your Culinary Affair Restaurant Week, from June 15-24, 2018. Each participating restaurant will offer Chef’s specials and interactive F&B experiences ranging from Art Jamming sessions at Akira Back, Beef Tartare Making at specialty grill restaurant SKIRT, to a special pairing menu at the one-Michelin star Summer Pavilion, a special Barman’s tasting menu at Cook & Brew and a Chef’s special tasting menu accompanied by a Guqin performance at Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant.

“Singapore has an extremely dynamic Food & Beverage scene and we are always looking for initiatives that put a spin to the whole dining experience,” said Bart Buiring, Chief Operations Services Officer, Marriott International, Asia Pacific. “By introducing this first of its kind restaurant matchmaking experience ‘Your Culinary Affair’ in Singapore, we hope to provide intriguing access to Marriott International’s unparalleled portfolio of restaurants in Singapore, at the same time strengthening our positioning as ‘The favorite destinations where locals go to meet, eat and drink.’”

In celebration of the launch, Marriott International is also inviting frequent diners and members to participate in a series of weekly social contests. All diners who book, dine and post their meal on Instagram with the hashtag, #yourculinaryaffair and geotag of the restaurant from now till June 24, 2018, will stand a chance to win experiences including room stays, brunch for two, or dinner for two across some of the participating hotels including JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, The St. Regis Singapore and W Singapore – Sentosa Cove.
