Cape Town, 24 June 2019: Marriott International welcomes its fourth property and the third Protea Hotel in Uganda to the brand’s growing presence in the country with Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz joining the portfolio. The hotel is strategically located in one of the most sought-after areas in the city with easy access to diplomatic and corporate headquarters, and a 30 minute drive from the airport.

The 141-room property will meet the increasing demand for quality lodging in the city. It features upmarket accommodation including a Presidential Suite and a variety of restaurants and bars including Chapter Two and the Tropicana Pool Deck. Set to become a social hub in the city, the hotel boasts a unique rooftop cocktail bar, Ninety9, featuring stunning views of the city. With a strong business focus, the hotel has 13 boardrooms and two conference rooms that can serve up to 150 guests, as well as a fully equipped business centre.
