As part of Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s Splendors of China learning program, 40 colleagues from the Melco management team recently toured the ‘Loving the Country, Loving Macau Education Base for Young People’ located at the Handover Gifts Museum of Macau. The purpose of the tour is to strengthen Melco colleagues’ national knowledge and identity and to gain a deeper understanding of Macau’s developments and achievements. Looking ahead, each colleague will have the opportunity to visit the patriotic education base as the Company rolls out regular tours.

The exhibition has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the Motherland, its history, culture and recent development.”
The ‘Loving the Country, Loving Macau Education Base for Young People’ aims to help people in Macau generate a deeper understanding of Chinese history and culture, acquire comprehensive knowledge about the development of the country and Macau, and to increase their sense of national conscience and patriotism.
Acknowledging the importance of national education, Melco’s Splendors of China learning program promotes patriotism among colleagues and the community. The program is dedicated to educating colleagues and the community about China’s cultural heritage, economic policies, social systems and values, creating deeper insight for colleagues into understanding the majority of Melco’s clientele, as well as appreciating the achievements of Macau’s mother country. Melco’s further Splendors of China initiatives have included seminars on Chinese history and Xi Jinping Thought taught by an eminent professor from Tsinghua University, national education study trips for executives and employees, various exhibition visits and nationalistic movie screenings.
