Melco Resorts & Entertainment recognizes enabling volunteering as a cornerstone of our corporate social responsibility strategy. Recently, Melco teamed up with Macau True Goodwill Friendship Association to host an Ebru art workshop for nearly 40 local child beneficiaries between the ages of 6-12 and their families to create unique gifts for Mother’s Day, with support from close to 20 Melco volunteers. Ebru art is a traditional and distinctive genre of painting particularly popular in Turkey and Central Asia which utilizes water and dyes to create mesmerizing patterns. Held at City of Dreams’ Kids’ City, the children worked with members of Melco’s volunteer team to create handheld fans, bringing home unique gifts for Mother’s Day.

Ms. Akiko Takahashi, Executive Vice President, Chief Officer of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, said, “We are pleased to continue collaborating with our trusted community partners such as the Macau True Goodwill Friendship Association on events to benefit members of the local community and our volunteering team. Melco is proud of and inspired by our colleagues’ participation and dedication to giving back to society, and we look forward to forthcoming events where we can continue to bring warmth and joy to those in need.”
