Memphis Tourism has announced its first recovery training webinar, giving agents fresh insight into the city that remains ready to rock when the world is again ready to roll.

With the slow easing of restrictions around the world, agents and travellers alike are beginning to think about travel again. Already showing positive room demand and occupancy, Memphis is beginning to reopen its great city, making now the perfect time for those in the industry to upskill and increase their product knowledge of the area.

Led by Australian and NZ Director Chris Ingram and Memphis based International Sales Manager, Lisa Catron, the training webinar will cover key facts as well as lesser known aspects of the home of blues, soul, and rock n’ roll (not to mention the world’s best barbecue). Designed to assist agents who will be getting ready to sell international travel as soon as possible, the training webinar will allow up to 300 attendees to ask questions, seek details on specific attractions in Memphis, and gain a better understanding of what is already possible in the city.

Already looking ahead with positivity, the city of Memphis has been one of the most proactive globally in rescheduling key events, and restarting local tourism. Its iconic Graceland reopened for business this week, as did the Botanic Gardens and the Memphis Zoo, and rather than cancel the highly anticipated Memphis in May festival, it will this year take place in October.

Through its ongoing commitment to lovers of its great city, Memphis is truly living the city’s current mantra, “When things get rocky, we still know how to roll.”
