As the city of Memphis continues to role out virtual programs to entertain those at home and keep spirits high during these difficult times, I wanted to share with you a lighthearted video captured by Memphis Zoo, that I thought might be of interest to your online reach.
Whilst we are unable to travel or visit Memphis Zoo for ourselves, the team have been busy keeping those at home up to date, and sharing behind-the-scenes footage from the zoo and virtual animal encounters.
As part of this, Memphis Zoo recently captured footage of one of its porcupines named Frankie going for a leisurely walk through the empty zoo. Whilst on his walk, the video shows Frankie gaining quite the fan club as he passes by a group of curious giraffes. As he walks past the giraffe exhibit, seemingly unaware of all the attention he is receiving, the giraffes can be seen following Frankie along and tilting their heads to try and capture a glimpse of this fascinating animal walking past.
This fabulous video was shared on the Memphis Zoo Facebook page and can be viewed
