Millennium Resort Mussanah, developed by Omran, the leading tourism-related investment‚ development and Management Company in Oman, is pleased to welcome Kiran Sonawane as the property’s new Director of Sales and Marketing.

With over 17 years of experience, specializing in positioning and managing luxury beach properties, Kiran brings with him a sound understanding of the economics in the travel and tourism industry.

Reporting to Dermot Birchall, Kiran will be responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing initiatives including strategic business partnerships and developing sales and marketing promotions, with an aim to achieve a higher number of occupancy, growth and profitability.

Kiran has joined Millennium Resort Mussanah with a solid experience working with various hospitality groups such as Taj Palaces, SLH Property, Banyan Tree & Angsana Hotels, ONYX Hospitality, Sarovar Hotels Group. He began his hospitality career in India, where he originally hails from, in 2002 with Renaissance – Marriott following which his passion for the hospitality industry saw him rapidly rise through several positions and work in key markets such as Maldives, Australia and Sri Lanka.
