The sweetest time of the year is back at the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa. The First Lady of Waikiki is celebrating Mangoes Month at the Moana with signature mango dishes and cocktails that showcase one of Hawaii’s favorite summer fruits.

Chef Colin Sato offers a delectable Mango Tasting menu at the Beachouse at the Moana. Offered daily during the month of July, mango lovers will enjoy a curated three-course menu with wine pairings.

The dinner starts with Grilled Kauai Prawns with a green mango salad, roasted cashews and ginger carrot puree. The second course is Porchetta with cauliflower puree, roasted brassicas, mango chutney, chicharon and finished with pork jus. A mango inspired dessert curated by Pastry Chef Carmen Montejo completes the menu – Mango Vanilla Verrine with aerated sponge cake, almond crumble and mango compote. The tasting menu is $65 per person; $80 per person with wine pairing; plus tax and gratuity. Dinner at the Beachhouse at the Moana is served from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. on the oceanfront veranda.

Additionally, start your day with mango-inspired breakfast items at the Veranda during the morning and lunch hours. Chef Nolan West and his culinary team are serving everything from Mango pancakes and Mango yogurt parfaits to Mango jelly and Mango bread. West also serves a warm and delicious treat – the “Mangosada,” a mango flavored malasada. Diners can also enjoy a Mango Mimosa – an indulgent morning treat.

Chefs West and Motejo team up to delight mango lovers with a mango inspired Afternoon Tea menu with savory bites and sweet mango treats. Breakfast is served from 6 – 10:30 a.m. and lunch and afternoon tea is served from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on the Veranda.

The oceanfront Beach Bar offers a Tandori Spiced Chicken with mango raita and mango chutney. The bar is open from 10:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. and serves a cocktail named after this event – Mangoes at the Moana.

Completing the mango lineup at the hotel, the Surfrider Café will be serving Mango Slushies, Pickled Mango and Mango bread. Café hours are from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily.
