Mojo Juju To Headline Summer Music Concert In St Kilda

The City of Port Phillip has today announced a special live music event as part of the 2019 Yaluk-ut Weelam Ngargee Festival. Taking place at St Kilda’s iconic Memo Music Hall on Friday 1 February, the show will feature Mojo Juju, The Merindas, Squid Nebula and Kalyani Mumtaz.

Following the release of her critically-acclaimed third studio album Native Tongue, Mojo Juju has recently completed a national tour garnering rave reviews for her incredible live performance. Her raw and honest approach to song writing has resonated well with fans, making her latest album her most successful to date.

Mojo Juju will be joined by powerhouse soul sisters, The Merindas, soul pop/neo-reggae quintet Squid Nebula and singer, songwriter Kalyani Mumtaz, one half of pop project Willow Beats.

Yaluk-ut Weelam Ngargee is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and culture held in St Kilda each year. Produced by the City of Port Phillip in partnership with the Boon Wurrung Foundation, the music concert will fall on the eve of the traditional free, family-friendly festival taking place on Saturday 2 February in O’Donnell Gardens.
