The Kiroro, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Hokkaido, Kiroro Onsen and Resort Pool, and Alla Moda each earned the top country honors for Japan in nominated categories. Established in 2006, World Luxury Hotel Awards recognizes outstanding achievement in the international luxury hotel industry across several categories. Despite the pandemic, more than 300,000 international travelers and industry leaders voted for the 2020 awards. This year, in an impressive showing, Kiroro took the top honors for Japan in three categories:
