I don’t know about you but I am getting very tired of the doom and gloom scenarios being spruked by our homegrown Australian airlines, with Qantas now nothing like our proud national carrier, slashing jobs, the QF CEO announcing no international flights until mid 2021 and now getting the states to compete for the location of their HQ – where has Qantas’ pride gone?  And Virgin originally saying there would be no or minimal job cuts, now owned by a solely investor focussed profit making machine, also slashing jobs and shrinking to mere shadow of what it was even as Virgin Blue.

The CEOs of both airlines have to win my “Grim Reaper Award of 2020”, and even worse for us, they and all the other airlines international and domestic that we invited to participate in Global Travel Media’s forthcoming webinar, “What Might The Future of Aviation Look Like” declining our invitation!

Why?

I have thought long and hard and wondered why and can think of no other reason that the airlines do not want to tell the industry what they are doing and also most certainly they do not want to have to answer any questions!

Hey, I might be wrong, but every cloud has a silver lining with the really good news being that our “What Might The Future of Aviation Look Like”” panel is now made up of stunning global and regional independent aviation specialist and aviation media and to check them out below, but one thing is for certain, they will tell it the way it is.
