Mr. Sameer Dharkar Managing Director Absolute Hotel Services, India is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Yasin Shaikh as Regional Manager – Revenue & Distribution effective today.
With an academic base, BSc. in Hospitality studies, Mr. Yasin has over a decade of intense exposure in hotel operations, entry point being Front Office, subsequently moving to Reservations and further on to Revenue and Distribution.
He started his career with the Balsams Grand Resort Hotel in New Hampshire USA, and further has worked with noteworthy global brands with large room inventory upto 400 rooms such as Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh and Ramada Hotel and Convention Centre Mumbai. His last assignment as Associate Director of Revenue, was with the popular Fariyas Group, Mumbai & Lonavala.
Having spent decent time in Front Office and Reservations, including pre-opening, functions that lay foundation for an effective Revenue & Distribution System, Yasin brings to the table freshness, an analytical mind and a probing outlook which are essential traits for this role.
At Absolute Hotel Services, he will be looking after company’s revenue function alongside development and implementation of right rate strategy and will be responsible for optimising business opportunities and maximizing yield for all operating and yet to open properties.
