Mulpha Australia, one of Australia’s largest Hotel investors and hospitality operators, has partnered with Spanish-based HUB OS to bring the first single, fully integrated hotel operating system to the Australian market.

The cloud-based software integrates all key hotel operations, including housekeeping, quality control, food & beverage, engineering and energy management, enabling data to be shared in real-time throughout the hotel, driving more efficient operations and improved service. The software is already the dominant player in the European market with over 600 hotels across 30 countries utilising the platform.

Since the implementation of HUB, InterContinental Hayman Island Resort has recorded material savings in housekeeping and Front of House departments with faster response times and improved guest satisfaction scores. Across HUB’s broader portfolio of 600 hotels, clients have seen a 10% reduction in room cleaning times and a 50-60% increase in room quality inspections. From a maintenance perspective clients’, on average have seen a 12-minute reduction in resolution times for corrective maintenance requests.

In addition to the reduction of software products, the API (application programming interface) allows for the replacement of pen and paper check-in at breakfast with an electronic option that ensures Hoteliers are capturing revenue in real time and assisting housekeeping staff with real time data to prioritise service of selected rooms, allowing for guests to return to a cleaned room.

Available and optimized as an App, HUB works seamlessly on smartphones to enable

operational data to be shared in real-time to staff anywhere in the hotel, enabling instant responses to guest, housekeeping or maintenance requests.
