In these tough times, members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Australia (AMYA) extend a helping hand in all major cities to provide free of charge service to those in critical need. The services range from picking up groceries to helping the elderly.

Waqas Ahmed, national president of the AYMA said:

“Coronavirus is impacting us all, no matter where you live both financially and psychologically with no end in sight. As a small gesture, our youth has volunteered to help anyone struggling in need for essential services in life”

The founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be on him), The Promised Messiah states:

“My desire, my wish and my objective is serving humanity. It is my job, my faith, my inspiration and my way.”

The AMYA have been at the forefront of serving local communities in tough times, be it severe floods or devastating bushfires earlier this year. The community also provides great support to charities such as Clean Up Australia Day, National Tree Day and Red Cross Blood Drives every year.
