Walk for Wellness

Yesterday as part of NCL’s Walk for Wellness Challenge, running until 31 October 2020,  Ben Angell, Norwegian Cruise Line Vice President and Managing Director, APAC and Damian Borg, Norwegian Cruise Line Director of Sales, Australia and New Zealand, led 19 of the Sydney based NCL team on a walk from their CBD office to the Opera House and through the Botanical Garden, walking a combined total of more than 45 kms.

“We’re fortunate to be able to go for a walk in celebration of the health and wellbeing of our valued travel partners and add another 45 kms to the Walk for Wellness total at the same time. It’s been great to see so many people getting into the spirit of Walk for Wellness, enjoying the challenges and sharing their experiences with the Walk for Wellness community on the app,” said Ben Angell.

Walk for Wellness promotes health and wellbeing within the Australia and New Zealand travel industry. The initiative utilises a free mobile phone app and encourages travel partners to get active and track their steps, while journeying around an interactive map of the world, reaching virtual global landmarks and completing fun weekly challenges, all alongside travel industry friends.
