During its first-ever virtual Regional Assembly, Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific’s members confirmed new Officers, Directors and Special Advisors to its Regional Board, effective immediately.

The Regional Board governs the overall development strategy of ACI Asia-Pacific and comprises aviation business leaders from across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region.
The new Board Officers elected for a two-year period are:
  • H.E. Ali Salim AL MIDFA, Chairman, Sharjah Airport Authority, UAE (Second Vice President)
  • Mr. SGK KISHORE, Executive Director, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd., India (Second Vice President)
Elected for a second term of two years as Board Officers are:
  • Sheikh Aimen bin Ahmed AL HOSNI, CEO, Oman Airports Management Company, Oman (Secretary-Treasurer)
  • Mr. Seow Hiang LEE, CEO, Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Singapore (President)
  • Mr. Emmanuel MENANTEAU, Board Member, Cambodia Airports, Cambodia (First Vice President)
 The new Board Directors elected for a three-year period are:
  • Mr. Kjeld BINGER, Permanent Sr. Advisor to The Board of Directors, Airport International Group, Jordan
  • Mr. Gert-Jan DE GRAAFF, CEO, Brisbane Airport Corporation PTY Limited, Australia
  • Mr. Faiz KHAN, CEO, Fiji Airports, Fiji
  • Mr. Bon Hwan KOO, President and CEO, Incheon International Airport Corporation, Korea
  • Mr. Fred LAM, CEO, Airport Authority Hong Kong, Hong Kong
  • Mr. QIN Yun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Shanghai Airport Authority, China
  • Mr. Jean-Michel RATRON, CEO, Aeroport de Tahiti, French Polynesia
  • Mr. Nitinai SIRISMATTHAKARN, President, Airports of Thailand Public Co. Ltd., Thailand
  • Mr. Chang Wan SON, CEO, Korea Airports Corporation, Korea
  • Mr. Yoshiyuki YAMAYA, Representative Director and CEO, Kansai Airports, Japan
Appointed by the Regional Board, the new Special Advisors are:
  • Eng. Suleiman AL BASSAM, Executive Vice President, General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saudi Arabia
  • Mr. Videh Kumar JAIPURIAR, CEO, Delhi International Airport Ltd., India
  • Mr. Xue Song LIU, Chairman, Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd., China

The annual Regional Assembly evolved to a virtual event following the cancellation of the 15th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition as a result of the impact of the global pandemic on air travel.
