Future Cruise Credits (FCC’s) are more popular than refunds, many travel advisors are saying. Why?
The amount passengers paid is now worth 25% more. It has been said that the 25% value is so enticing, clients are buying cruises, knowing if they don’t proceed, they will have made more on their money, a much better investment than money in the bank. In addition they can cancel up to 48 hours prior to departure and not lose their cruise fare. They have been termed “Golden tickets”. Many will use the gain to upgrade. It appears that more than 60% of people are opting for the FCC over refunds. They say that rebooking a cruise is a solid investment.
