Luxury brand Delicario launches an innovative selection of chocolate eggs and new Easter range of hampers and gift boxes with hand-picked fine artisan food and wine from small sustainable producers across Europe.

Easter signifies Spring, sweet treats and an occasion for families to get together now that social restrictions are easing. For Easter, ‘international farmers market’ Delicario (www.delicario.com) are introducing a festive variety of gift boxes and hampers of authentic artisan flavours from sustainably minded small-scale and family producers in different European regions, as well as a range of fine chocolate Easter eggs. With a ‘farm to table approach’, the emphasis is on high quality natural ingredients reliant on organic generational farming methods and natural preservation, steering away from mass production.

Delicario was set up by a small team of specialists working in the luxury services industry with a passion for food and travel to source outstanding delicacies to sell in their online shop as individual items, gift boxes and hampers. The new Easter range features biscuits, cakes, chocolates and Easter eggs made to fragrant artisan recipes by small Italian chocolatiers and bakeries, accompanied by fine tea and Premier Cru Rosé Champagne from family vineyard Damien-Buffet. From Belgium there’s an elegant selection box of eye-catching praline eggs handcrafted by Frederic Blondeel.

The egg is an ancient symbol of new life and Delicario have selected artisan chocolatier Autore from the picturesque Italian village of San Marco dei Cavoti in the Campania hills for their handcrafted chocolate eggs of distinction and also Frederic Blondeel from Belgium, creating an elegant selection box of handmade chocolates eggs with organic cocoa sourced from India, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador and Vietnam.

Rewriting tradition using the finest ingredients, Autore have produced an egg made from extra fine chocolate, crusted in origin-protected crunchy hazelnuts from Avellino in Italy and another in Bronte pistachios also of protected origin. The larger version of each comes beautifully presented in its own wooden case. For the dark chocolate connoisseur, there’s a single source 64% Madagascar chocolate egg which is bitter, velvety and persistent with sour notes of red fruits. A trio presentation box will delight lovers of chocolate with a dark one covered in Autore’s signature croccantino and one each in milk chocolate crusted with hazelnuts and pistachios. An elegant gift option is a box containing a fine milk chocolate presentation shell with a selection of dark chocolate cups, assorted mini eggs and pralines in innovative flavours of liquorice, pear, passion fruit and pecan. For kids, a sustainably packaged presentation box of creamy extra fine milk chocolate mini eggs is one option, as well as Autore’s signature croccantino recipe providing a fabulous crunch to the same mini eggs. Croccantino is made from a crunchy mixture cooked in a copper cauldron from almonds and caramelised hazelnuts according to the traditional Italian recipe. The Frederic Blondeel selection offers twelve fine chocolate eggs masterfully flavoured with crispy feuilletine, organic matcha tea from Japan, hazelnuts and almonds from Sicily, coffee and caramel.
