Australian Cycle Tours has released two new deluxe self-guided cycle itineraries exploring the Hunter Valley in NSW.

Accommodation base for the 4 day Hunter Valley Deluxe Self Guided Cycle Explorer is upmarket Spicers Vineyard Estate in the heart of the Pokolbin region.  The itinerary includes two days cycling Australia’s oldest wine region at your own pace, with time to enjoy a long lunch, sample local delicacies or stop for wine tastings enroute.  Cost is $870pp (twin share) and includes three nights deluxe accommodation in a king room, three breakfasts, mountain bike hire including helmet (e-bikes available for a supplement), route notes and maps.

For those with a little less time, there’s also a 3 day, 2 night Hunter Valley Deluxe Short Break for $670 that combines a self-guided one day cycle and a day to kick back and enjoy a long lunch, sample local delicacies or a wine tasting enroute.
There are alternate options on both packages with comfortable studio room accommodation in Pokolbin replacing the Spicers’ accommodation that costs $640 pp (twin share) for the 4 day Hunter Valley Self guided Explorer and $490 pp (twin share) for the 3 day Hunter Valley Short Break.
All packages are self-guided, so there’s maximum flexibility, with travel taking place at your own pace.
Australian Cycle Tours is the newest cycling brand of leading adventure travel company, World Expeditions.
