New Mofo Sessions Announced
As Launceston prepares for Mona Foma in January, impatient music fans can look forward to passing the time with the next batch of Sunday afternoon Mofo Sessions.
The next five acts have been revealed, including a raucous jazz trio and an emerging multi-instrumentalist from Hobart.
Mofo Sessions Executive Producer Shelley McCuaig said the fortnightly Sunday concerts have been embraced by Launceston.
“We’ve already seen a diverse range of acts play to really receptive crowds at Design Tasmania.
“We’ve had an overwhelming response and we’re really excited to announce this next round of Mofo Sessions artists, which will take us through to Sunday 2 December. Prepare for sackbuts, jazz, mountain harp and dance.”
