New partnership with Chhattisgarh state to drive sustainable tourism plans

TOFTigers is delighted to announce a partnership with Chhattisgarh state to help them develop sustainable tourism. “Alongside a host of sustainability experts our aim is to help and support the Tourism Board on their new journey” says Deepika Chowdhry, TOFTigers India Director. “The state, with its strong tribal and cultural identify, tiger reserves and wildlife refuges, temples and unique art and handicrafts has a real opportunity to build unique experiences and activities for interested travellers, with sustainability, community and conservation at its core. We look forward to making this journey together.”

Mrs Effat Ara, for Chhattisgarh Tourism Board continued, “We certainly hope that partnering with TOFTigers will help in developing sustainable tourism in the state while conserving our natural diversity and wild treasures”.

TOFTigers has been the Sustainability Partner to South Asia biggest International Travel Mart in New Delhi, SATTE 2020, for the last 3 years. With the growing awareness of the need to develop more sustainable products and travel experiences, whilst decreasing our carbon footprint, there is increasing interest in our various campaigns, our training workshops and certification programmes from not only visiting delegates but also state governments and destination managers.
