Swazi Dreams, a brand new traditionally styled accommodation has opened up in Eswatini’s (Swaziland’s) Ngwempisi Wilderness.

The rustic beehive huts offer a real glimpse into traditional housing of the Swati people, but with modern features such as ensuite toilets and showers; and solar lighting.

Electric power is not available in the huts, but the Swazi Dreams eating area is fully equipped for those requiring power during their stay. The aptly named Ngwempisi Wilderness is very rarely visited but offers fantastic sights for those wanted to get off the beaten track. Ngwempisi offers challenging hiking to those prepared to rough it. Its amazing rugged landscape centres upon a spectacular 20km gorge, formed where the Ngwempisi river carves east through the Ntfungulu hills. This is an example of the diverse geology prevalent in Eswatini that makes it the strikingly beautiful country it is, and ensures that hiking and mountain biking here is always a challenging and satisfying experience.
