They speak of magic evenings, it does not get any more magical than this. The new look of Skopje central city area where traditionally the New Year is welcomed is a place of fairy tales. Except that our fairy tale lasts a bit longer, 4 days longer. 4 days where your clients can get a closer look at this beautiful multicultural city. Where they can meet with locals and get beyond ordinary experiences.

Day 1: SKOPJE (28.12.2019)
Arrival in Skopje.  Meeting with our representative. Welcome dinner with traditional music and a special menu at a local restaurant.

Day 2: SKOPJE – GRACANICA – PRISTINA – KOSOVO POLJE – SKOPJE (12.29.2019)
Breakfast. Departure to Kosovo. On the way to Pristina, stop to visit Gracanica Monastery, an emotional place in this region, as a witness to a dramatic and bloody conflict. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the church of the monastery is an excellent example of the Byzantine architecture and a perfect combination of arches, windows and domes. Visit of Kosovo Polje, sacred monument of Serbian nationalism, currently protected by UN forces. After arriving in the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, having a walk in the pedestrian zone. Departure to Skopje. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: SKOPJE – STOBI – KAVADARCI – WINE REGION – SKOPJE (30.12.2019)
Breakfast. Departure to visit the Roman city of Stobi. Located along Axia Road, Stobi was one of the largest Roman cities in the region. Currently, about 15 hectares have been excavated. The route extends for several hundred meters along the old road, surrounded by the foundations of public buildings, homes, public toilets and some churches. Finally, you arrive at the amphitheater (2nd century) and the basilica. The baptistery, completely paved with beautiful mosaics, is connected to the basilica. Lunch in a winery of high quality in the wine region. We will spend a day dedicated to Macedonian wine. Drive to Kavadarci where we will visit the private woodcarving workshop where you will learn more about the technique of clay sculpture. Continue to Skopje.

Day 4: SKOPJE (31.12.2019)

Breakfast. Walking tour of the city of Skopje: the fortress of Kalé, located in the old town. The Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the Church Sveti Spas ( Saint Savior or Ascension )with the incredible iconostasis of six meters and ten meters long made by the Filipovsky brothers between 1819-1824. Visit of the old Muslim neighborhood. Walk through the Old Bazaar and the Stone Bridge that has acquired this state of symbol not only for its historical value, but also because it connects two very different parts of the city. Visit the Archaeological Museum. Having a unique experience meeting Deko, who will tell you the story of the Macedonian Ruby, and you will feel his passionate dedication of what he does, he is one of our heroes today. Visit of the Memorial Center dedicated to Mother Teresa, as well as her birthplace, and then the city’s old train station. In the afternoon, walk through the modern part of the city and visit the Cathedral of St. Clement of Ohrid painted by Slavco Brezovski. Dedicated in August 1990. Dinner with a New Year’s program and overnight.

Day 5: SKOPJE (01.01.2020)
Breakfast. Free time for individual activities. Transfer to the airport and departure.
