NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is bringing nature direct to headphones, laptops and speakers at home with a new Nature Sounds series.

NPWS’ Nature Sounds are specially produced 60-minute nature soundscapes which have been recorded in national parks across the state, capturing the unique atmosphere of diverse environments including rainforest, outback and coastal areas.

The first was captured in a rainforest section of iconic World-Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. Listen here: https://youtu.be/E75KN3L4on0

Over one hour, experience the sounds you would hear if you were standing in Blue Mountains National Park, including flowing water, wind, birdsong and birdcalls and other ambient noises of the rainforest.

Try NPWS’ Nature Sounds as a calming backing track for working from home, to play while

meditating or doing yoga or pilates, to connect to nature during a run or work out, to help focus while studying, or to relax to while drifting off to sleep.
