On The Go Tours, the award-winning tour operator specialising in locally-led group tours and tailor-made holidays, has launched a new Anzac Day tour as well as 2019 dates for their classic tours.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of On The Go Tours with the tour operator running Anzac Day tours for almost as long. On The Go Tours are Turkey specialists with their East and Southeast Europe tours winning silver at the 2017 British Travel Awards. Their tours offer a memorable and poignant experience to commemorate Anzac Day.

2019 will bring the new 8-day Anzac Coo-ee tour, for those seeking further exploration in Turkey.  After paying tribute at the emotive services, travellers will head to the seaside town of Ayvalik before heading on to visit the Roman ruins of Troy, Pergamum and Asclepion. The next two days are spent exploring the wonderfully preserved classic city of Ephesus and the shimmering mineral pools of Pamukkale before ending in Istanbul. The Anzac Coo-eestarts from $1,695 per person departing 22 April.

On The Go Tours has seen a major comeback for Turkey with passenger numbers for July 2017 to March 2018 increasing 118% from July 2016 to March 2017.

Each of the five Anzac Day tours spend Anzac Eve and Day in Gallipoli. Travellers arrive at Anzac Cove on the 24th to visit the memorials and trenches before attending the Anzac Eve vigil and spending the night. On the 25th of April, the traditional bugle call signals the start of the poignant Dawn Service. Australians then have the opportunity to visit the Lone Pine Memorial Service and New Zealanders the chance to attend the service at Chunuck Bair, before heading back to Istanbul.

The 4-day Pure Anzac and 5-day Anzac Digger are perfect for those short on time or who want to add an Anzac experience to their European trip. ThePure Anzac starts from $895 per person departing 23 April and the Anzac Digger from $1,095 per person departing 22 April.

The 8-day Anzac Smoko and 10-day Anzac Bonzer give travellers more time to experience Turkey. The Anzac Smoko now has a flight replacing the long drive between Istanbul and Pamukkale, with more free time to be enjoyed in these destinations. During the extra days of Anzac Bonzer, the lunar landscape of Cappadocia and Konya, home to the Whirling Devish, are visited. The Anzac Smoko starts from $1,995 per person departing 20 April and the Anzac Bonzer starts from $2,295 per person departing 18 April.
