How does the online diving course work?
Learning to scuba dive requires knowledge development (facts, principles and concepts) as well as practical diving skills. OrcaNation’s online course allows you to do the knowledge portion of the course at home on your own, through videos, graphics and reading material, plus short quizzes and reviews to help you gauge your progress.

When can I get started?
You can get started immediately and work at your own pace using the PADI eLearning® system. This convenient, interactive study option allows you to learn anytime and anywhere you have an internet connection.

How do I complete the practical portion of the course?
Once you have completed the online theory portion of the course, you are ready to get into the water. Practical skills are taught by an OrcaNation PADI instructor at Bawah Reserve. Bawah has 12 dive sites with an array of coral reefs, colourful marine life and beautiful underwater scenery. All our dive sites have a similar topography, with a gentle sandy slope that extends to a depth of seven meters before a further 25-meter drop. Most of these sites are a mere 10-minute boat ride from the islands too.
