In line with the Victorian Government’s recent move to ease COVID-19 restrictions, Otway Fly Treetop Adventures is happy to announce that it will reopen its doors to the public on Saturday 6 June 2020.

Guests can discover the unique beauty of the Otways from the incredible elevated walkway knowing there are additional health and safety measures in place to ensure the wellbeing of all visitors and team members.

The reopening of Otway Fly Treetop Adventures gives people of all ages the opportunity to reconnect with nature and immerse themselves in a beautiful and serene outdoor environment after months of being confined indoors.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests back to Otway Fly Treetop Adventures. In order to ensure all of our guests feel completely at ease visiting, we have implemented a range of new health and safety measures that seek to reduce the risks associated with the presence of COVID-19. First and foremost, we ask that all guests pre-book their tickets online in advance so we can carefully manage the number of people on the Treetop Walk and inside our visitor centre,” said Nathan Bridgeman, Attraction Manager at Otway Fly Treetop Adventures.

Otway Fly Treetop Adventures is moving forward with a cashless approach and is requesting all visitors pre-book their tickets online to guarantee entry. The daily capacity has been reduced to allow for social distancing and the best possible guest experience. Enhanced cleaning measures have been introduced throughout the day to disinfect high-frequency touch points. Social distancing controls are in place for queues, Treetop Walk, visitor centre and café. All measures are in line with government advice and the full list of health and safety measures can be found here:  www.otwayfly.com.au/updates

The outdoor attraction will be open on weekends only from 10am – 5pm until further notice.

Located 20 minutes from the Great Ocean Road, Otway Fly Treetop Adventures features a breathtaking Treetop Walk. The 600m long, 25m high elevated walkway provides unrivalled views of the unique beauty of the region’s flora and fauna, from the rainforest floor up into the towering heights of the treetops. Visitors can also climb the 45m tall Spiral Tower and the cantilever perched above Young’s Creek, which is a truly exhilarating experience as you gently sway with the rainforest canopy.

Visitors can also enjoy the first Zipline Tour in Victoria, a unique eco-wilderness adventure. Participants zip from one ‘cloud station’ to another connected by cables up to 30m above the forest floor. This exciting adventure lasts 2.5 hours and is guided by experienced guides. Guides will provide you with an insight into the forest’s history and its features and provide you with an experience you won’t forget! Visitors will see the trees and forest in a new light and learn about this growing and vibrant rainforest.
