The COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak has certainly taken a toll on the Asia travel market this past month and a half.

Here on the ground, the impact has been felt in all countries and has many questioning what the best way to move forward is.
Looking back at a similar experience with the SARS outbreak in 2003, while tourism was initially affected, through close collaboration and quick action across the industry, we were still able to reach and even exceed target goals by the end of the year. With this in mind, we’re confident that recovering the tourism industry and attracting travellers can be done fairly quickly when we work together on coordinated efforts.
Though it appears that recovery rates are on the rise, we naturally are not in a position to provide travellers with official medical information or recommendations – for all information regarding COVID-19, we strongly recommend following the information and guidance shared by WHO as well as here for the latest updates. We can, however, do all in our power to support you and meet our ongoing commitment to help you sell and have developed a multi-pronged approach to support your business both now and in the future. By preparing now, we aim to be in a solid position to welcome visitors once the outbreak has been controlled.
IMMEDIATE SUPPORT (1st PHASE)
While tourists may still be hesitant to make Asia travel plans, we would like to invite you to take this time to plan your own journey and experience all that the region has to offer through the following ways:
  • We’re offering industry members incredible rates across packages, accommodation, transfers and more from now until Autumn 2020.
  • We’re also organising FAM trips for our agents that are open for you to invite your own retail agents as well.
  • Additionally, we are in close contact with the tourism boards of each country we operate in, many of which are organising their own campaigns to attract future visitors. We’d be happy to connect you directly with the tourism board you’re interested to see how you can benefit from their efforts.
