Award-winning, design-led hotel collection, Ovolo, is proud to announce it has appointed Joanne Sproule as General Manager of Ovolo Central in Hong Kong, and Tanya Ritter – previously Operations Manager at Ovolo Woolloomooloo – has been promoted to the new Hotel Manager at Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour.
With extensive hotel industry experience, Joanne joins Ovolo as the previous Director of Sales at QT Sydney and QT Bondi. Joining the team at Ovolo Central after the hotel’s recent evolution and design early this year, Joanne is pleased to join the team at a time when the hotel is moving into a new phase.
“Ovolo is such a progressive and disruptive group and with the revamp comes new opportunities and ideas. I’m excited to bring my experience to the table”, said Joanne.
The step up from Operations Manager at Ovolo Woolloomooloo to Hotel Manager at 1888 will see Tanya take with her the established workings from TripAdvisor’s #1 hotel in Australia and South Pacific. Tanya will embed this award-winning level of operations within the team at Ovolo 1888 and drive the hotel to perform at its optimal potential.
