REUNION FEASTS AT HUA TING RESTAURANT

Delight in Hua Ting’s prosperous Lunar New Year Set Menus starting with an appetizer combination such as Smoked Duck with Mango and Deep-fried Prawn with Yuzu, followed by exquisite dishes including Braised Superior Bird’s Nest with Tiger Prawn and Gold VarkBraised 6-Head South African Whole Abalone with Mushroom and Bean GlutenBraised South American Sea Cucumber with Dried OysterSteamed Eastern Garoupa in Supreme Sauce, Braised Pig Trotte with Black Moss and Rice Vermicelli or Wok-fried Glutinous Rice with Preserved Meatand complete the feast on a sweet note with Red Bean Soup and Glutinous Rice Dumpling, Deep-fried ‘Nian Gao’ with Taro, and Pan-fried Water Chestnut Cake.

Bring home the Hua Ting Signature Fortune Pot ‘Pen Cai’ 围村家乡盆菜 (small $328 for 5 pax; large $598 for 10 pax) brims with well-stocked delicacies including Abalone, Fish Maw, Sea Cucumber, Tiger Prawns, Dried Scallops, Japanese Mushrooms, Dried Oysters and Roasts, served in an auspicious red wooden round container representing an abundance of food and wealth for the new year!  Popular roasts include the Barbecued Whole Suckling Pig ($288) and Roasted Duck ($84). 

Master Chef Lap Fai presents a lavish selection of six “Lo Hei” Yu Sheng – from the impressive Ox-picious Yu Sheng – Whole Abalone ‘Lo Hei’ 金牛报喜 ($188 1-day advance order) and Whole Abalone ‘Lo Hei’ Yu Sheng 如珠如宝鲍捞生 (small $78, large $138), to Fresh Hamachi ‘Lo Hei’ Yu Sheng 风生水起捞鱼生 ($78) and Fresh Toro ‘Lo Hei’ Yu Sheng 兴旺发达齐捞生 (small $198, large $388). Health-conscious diners can enjoy the Healthy Organic Seasonal Green ‘Lo Hei’ 阖家团圆齐捞生 – France Ice Lettuce and Truffle (small $78, large $138). For an extravaganza experience, feast on the Live Australian Lobster, Salmon Roe, Whole Abalone ‘Lo He’ Yu Sheng 龙马精神鲍捞生 ($628, 10 pax).

Prosperous favourites feature the Traditional ‘Nian Gao’ ($42); Osmanthus Water Chestnut Cake ($42); and Radish Cake with 16-head South African Abalone ($78), including this year’s auspicious creation – Gold Bar Kumquat Nian Gao.  Enjoy goodies such as the Crispy Purple Sweet Potato Chips ($17.80), Honey Walnuts ($20.80) and Macadamia Nuts ($33.80)

Pair your feast with Hua Ting’s renowned homemade sauces – XO Chilli Sauce ($38.80), Shrimp Sauce ($18.8) and Soya Bean Chilli Sauce ($12.80)

Hua Ting Restaurant’s Takeaway Goodies and Prosperity Set Menus are available from 11 January to 26 February 2021.  Prosperity Set Menus are priced from $108 to $188 per person (minimum 2 diners) and lunch $788 for 8 persons and dinner from $988 to $2888 for 8 persons. Reunion Lunch is served from 11:30am to 2:30pm on Mondays to Fridays and 11:00am to 2:30pm on Saturdays, Sundays, Eve of and Public Holidays, while Reunion Dinner is from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (1st Seating) and 8.00pm to 10.00pm (2nd Seating).

BOUNTIFUL BUFFETS AT THE ORCHARD CAFE  

Enjoy unlimited servings of Asian, International and Chinese New Year dishes from the “live” stations to celebrate the auspicious season.  Rejoice with an array of assorted Japanese appetisers; seafood platter of Chilled Prawns, Half-shelled Mussels and Snow Crab Legs; Surf & Turf favourites like Grilled Pork Ribs, Char-grilled Angus Beef Ribeye, Baked Norwegian Salmon; and a series of tantalising Chinese delicacies including Chef’s Prosperity Yu Sheng with Abalone Slices, Pomelo Salad in Yuzu Honey Dressing, Chinese Roasts, Prosperity Casserole, ‘Nian Gao’ of the day and Glutinous Balls with Ginger Soup.
