In February 2020, Latitude 33 will host an exclusive group of just 20 travellers on a 29-night cruise tour highlighting the revitalized Silver Spirit and a land program of India’s Golden Triangle staying exclusively at Oberoi Hotels.
Inclusive of flights, travellers will arrive in Singapore on the 27th February 2020. Here they’ll spend two nights at Raffles Hotel Singapore, welcomed by a special dinner at Chef Justin Quek’s newest restaurant.
Setting sail on the 29th February, guests will spend fifteen nights on board the luxurious Silver Spirit.Cruising the Southeast Asian coastline, guests will make their way to Phuket for a day of exploring before arriving in Myanmar’s capital, Yangon for three nights.
Latitude 33 has curated a selection of bonus shore excursions in Yangon; visiting the Bogyoke Aung San Market, discovering the world-renowned Shwedagon Pagoda, strolling through Kandawagyi Park and Lake and taking a boat ride to one of the oldest pagodas in the region, Kyauktan Ye Le Paya.
On 10th March Silver Spirit will overnight in Colombo, a mecca of fine restaurants, museums, parks and Buddhist temples. In Colombo, Latitude 33 guests will enjoy a guided day trip to the only tea estate situated in the costal belt of Sri Lanka specialising in the manufacturing of ‘virgin white tea’, and a guided tour of Galle Fort.
The small and friendly town of Cochin is the last stop for Silver Spirit before disembarking in Mumbai where guests begin their journey across the Golden Triangle. Checking into The Oberoi Mumbai for two nights, visits to the Gandhi Museum, Dhobi Ghat, Fort Mumbai and Churchgate Station are a must.
Flying into the ‘City of Sunrise’, Udaipur, guests will check into Oberoi Udaivilas for three nights. While in Udaipur, guests will enjoy a culinary experience hosted by a family that was among the premier nobility of Mewar.
Travelling north, guests will stay in Jaipur for three nights at Oberoi Rajvilas where they’ll uncover the city’s historical sites before visiting Agra for two nights, staying at the Oberoi Amarvilas with a memorable visit to the Taj Mahal at both sunrise and sunset.
Checking into the Oberoi Delhi for the final two nights, guests can farewell India.
