Petite Paris expands to Portugal and rebrands as Petite B&Bs

Australian owned bed-and-breakfast booking service, Petite B&B’s has revealed a new brand and website today, and announced its expansion to Lisbon and Porto, in response to increasing demands from travelers for more authentic accommodation and travel experiences across Europe and worldwide. In 2018 Sth of France homes will be added to the website with 8 Provence and Dordogne homes already secured awaiting listing.

Formerly known as Petite Paris and independently owned and operated by Sydney local Regina Ferreira, Petite B&B’s has recently added 17 new properties in Central and Northern Portugal, to the existing catalogue of 54 rooms, suites, studios and apartments around the historic and romantic city of Paris.

“I’m so excited to be expanding into Portugal, which is set to be one of the hottest travel destinations for 2018. Offering great food and wine, a vibrant and creative culture and history and great value for money, it’s a European gem that has been flying under the radar for too long,” Regina said.

“As tourist hotspots like Amsterdam, Barcelona and Dubrovnik struggle to cope with over-tourism and travelers call for tailored, unique and authentic experiences – it’s definitely Portugal’s time to shine!”

Talking about the upgraded Petite B&B’s website, Regina said the ‘bells and whistles’ would not detract from the company’s personal one-on-one approach and an automated booking function could never replace good old fashioned customer service and support.

“We will always take the time to understand each of our guest’s specific needs, interests and any challenges, by chatting to them on the phone, via email, web-chat and even on Facebook. This level of service and support remains at the core of our business model and is what sets us apart from the big hotel chains and other online accommodation services.”

In line with this personal approach, each Parisian property has been carefully handpicked and vetted against the strict guidelines and regulations set out by the Paris Tourism and Convention Bureau. Petite B&B’s has also applied this model in selecting its new Portuguese properties to ensure only the best rooms and homes, as well as friendly and experienced hosts are offered.

“From luxurious and historic homes, to romantic suites, or simple but charming family homes, to artists studios, and even whole private apartments, we have a wide range of unique and authentic accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets (from 80 – 300euro per night).”

“Booking through Petite B&B’s will give travelers the opportunity to truly discover and experience the city like a local, connect with their host and truly immerse themselves in the cities culture and customs. With properties now available in three popular cities, we will be exploring more locations to add to our B&B family in the near future!” Regina concluded.
