“The Piano Bar will be the destination of choice for our local, national and international guests who enjoy the Hotel’s unique and modern take on the elegance and sophistication of traditional piano bars.

“Its design is one of a kind for Australia, and we have complimented this with a carefully curated drinks menu, including barrel aged spirits, hand crafted cocktails, and a wine collection featuring a unique blend of local and international wineries. “

“Following on from the success of Belle Époque and the Terrace, the Piano Bar will strengthen the Hotel’s collection of dining outlets to truly position ourselves as Brisbane’s premier culinary destination.  The menu, created by our Executive Chef Chris Norman and Executive Sous Chef – Pastry, Alexandra Liddle, will offer a selection of dining options designed to perfectly compliment the design and atmosphere of the Piano Bar.”

“Under the leadership of Rob Brady, Director of Food and Beverage for the Hotel, we have a hand-picked team ready to bring their years of experience to Piano Bar to continue the Hotel’s legacy of award-winning service.”

The new Piano Bar will feature: a stunning grand piano, which will be played daily from 4pm; a magnificent curved bar, wrapped in a back-lit smoky gun metal onyx; a custom-made chandelier; andfrangipani themed, laser cut steel bi-fold doors, seamlessly integrating The Piano Bar with the hotel’s beautifully appointed lobby.  Live jazz will also be played every Friday and Saturday night from 7.30pm, featuring some of the best of Brisbane’s local talent.  With a modern take on vintage elegance, the décor also features: a tiered coffered ceiling; dark mirror glass walls; and lush, visually distinctive bespoke furniture.

Piano Bar will cater for functions of up to 100 people, providing an ideal venue for a drinks ahead of a larger function in the Hotel’s Frangipani Ballroom.  For those looking for a sophisticated, yet relaxed evening of gourmet food, perfectly matched wines and smooth piano tunes and live jazz, the Piano Bar will be yours to enjoy.
