Pinterest News: Pinterest launches Catalogues and more shopping spaces

People have always used Pinterest for shopping. Over the years, Pinterest has been making it easier to buy anything you see on the platform, and for brands to reach people on Pinterest while they’re actively looking for inspiration.

Today Pinterest is introducing new tools and features to help Pinners find the best products and services for their unique tastes and preferences. With Catalogs, businesses can automatically create Product Pins featuring up to date pricing and stock information from an online catalog. This new feature includes a catalog manager dashboard that allows retailers to easily upload their product catalog, organise products and have them discovered and purchased by Pinners.

Pinterest is also announcing that Shopping Ads are now available to all businesses which helps put ads in front of people at the right time. This ad format lets businesses amplify Product Pins from their existing online catalog and show consumers how the product or service fits into their lives. With shopping ads, businesses can reach multiple objectives including brand awareness, attract new customers, online checkout, sign up or sales lead.
