From Oct. 27 through Mar. 31, Delta will enhance customer experience on board a 226-passenger aircraft featuring 26 First Class seats, 29 Delta Comfort+ seats, and 171 Main Cabin seats. Customers can also take advantage of extra wide in-flight entertainment screens and Wi-Fi options.

“Bogota has much to offer to both business and leisure travelers and we are excited to provide our customers the First Class experience as well as unparalleled services at every point of their journey,” said Ricardo Garnica, Delta Sales Manager in Colombia.

First Class customers can enjoy the latest seasonal menus in the pre-select meal program which allows them to order their first choice of meal ahead of their journey. The onboard experience includes a selection of wines curated by Delta’s Master Sommelier, Andrea Robinson. Flights to Bogotá currently include Quiche Loraine and Banana strawberry and chocolate pancakes, along with assorted breakfast breads with seasonal fruit and yogurt. Flights to Atlanta currently include chicken Milanese and cacio e pepe ravioli with hearts of palm salad.

The higher-capacity flight complements the route connecting Atlanta to Cartagena, a leading beach destination in Colombia. Bogota is a leading Latin American capital for business travel and a major destination for leisure tourism. It has become an important hub for hosting international conferences and cultural events, offering a variety of fine dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

Delta Air Lines has been recognized as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies Worldwide for two consecutive years due to ongoing advancements in customer experience and new technology. The airline has invested in RFID real-time bag tracking tool, mobile boarding pass service, the first wireless in-flight entertainment system, and automatic check-in for flights using the Fly Delta app, all implemented at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Through its innovative technology and newly-implemented routes connecting the U.S. to Latin America, the airline continues to bring more choices and competition to flyers worldwide.
